Well-Maintained Network of Ski Tracks

You will find several cross-country ski trails to choose from at the Parppei Sports Centre.

• Trail in the centre, 7 km (intermediate), lit up daily. The trail then continues for 1.8 km (challenging) with Havukka Trail, or without it for 6.5 km (easy).

• Ruhkaranta Trail, 10 km (easy), 16.5 km (intermediate)

• Tetrijärvi Trail, 28 km (intermediate). Open after 15 February.

Mustavaara Ski Centre

Are you into downhill skiing? Then drive 50 kilometres towards Joensuu and you will be at Mustavaara Ski Centre in only 45 minutes.

Whether you are a beginner or at an advanced level, the diverse slopes of Mustavaara are suitable for skiers of all ages. Four lit slopes, two T-bar lifts, two snow parks and a free carpet lift for kids are available for the whole family.
