The Winetower

Hermanni Winery
Hermanni Winery and Distillery has a history spanning more than 30 years. Established in 1989, it is the oldest winery in Finland and the first one to produce sparkling wines. Hermanni is Finland’s largest producer of Arctic wines and it also produces spirits, liqueurs, and non-alcoholic beverages. Bottles can be purchased from the winery’s wine shop at Käymiskuja 1, which is open year-round.
The Winetower
The Winetower is one of Ilomantsi’s top attractions. Here you can sample the award-winning local products while enjoying a breathtaking 360° panoramic view. The family-friendly café-bar is located at the top of an old water tower at Kappalaisentie 1 and is open daily during the summer season.
